Dermalogica CLEAR START Skin Care Line for Teens

Everyone has heard the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words". With this thought in mind, Dermalogica's Clear Start, a skin care system designed to specifically treat teen acne, announces the Clear Start Challenge, where participants ages 13-22 may win free product in exchange for a couple of selfies and their personal insights regarding their experience in dealing with acne.

Now through May 16, participants may step up and take the Clear Start Challenge by logging onto www.ClearStartChallenge.com. There is no fee or other requirement to participate. Currently, the first 250 applicants will receive a free Clear Start Kit ($38 retail value), providing them with a 30-day supply of the line's core products which heal and prevent whiteheads and blackheads, reduce inflammation, and keep youthful sebum production in check, night and day. Participants are asked to upload two selfies, one before and one after using Clear Start. The entrants are also asked to share their personal experience about how acne or even a few breakouts have affected their life. The Clear Start team will select new winners each week and post the selfies on the Clear Start Web site.

According to The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD, http://bit.ly/1bg5WHs), more than 40% of U.S. teens will have acne and/or acne scarring, requiring the care of a dermatologist by their mid-teens. To address this need, Dermalogica developed Clear Start, an advanced skin care system, available without a prescription, formulated to treat teen acne without harsh, drying chemicals or caustic scrubs which may damage or sensitize skin and actually worsen acneic inflammation. Adults with acne, which differs in its characteristics from teen acne, are advised to visit a professional skin care professional and inquire about Dermalogica's mediBac system for adult acne.
