Champagne lovers can look forward to the chain of champagne bars opening their first Northern bar in Leeds this year. The bar will sit on top of the new John Lewis development at Victoria Gate with a lovely outside area, so you can enjoy beautiful views of the city with alongside fresh delicious food and a lovely glass on champagne.

 

 Tattu

Tattu is a Manchester-based chain of Chinese restaurants, but they too are branching out into Leeds. You can look forward to an opulent restaurant and bar, with dark mahogany wall panels and extravagant furniture. There’s a menu to match, designed to show off Chinese food at its finest, from wagyu dumplings to caramel soy beef fillet and Canadian lobster. A must visit for any foodie.

 

 Lindt

All the chocoholics out there, the ultimate place to indulge is coming to Leeds. The store will be located by the Trinity centre. Expect the full range of Lindt chocolates, from Lindor to Excellence, Creation to Hello, as well as the Lindt Swiss Luxury Collection if you’re looking for something extra special.

 

 JD Gyms

Winner of the UK’s Best Budget Gym Award for 2015-16, JD Gyms, is set to open between Seacroft and Roundhay. Expect hundreds of cardio, strength, resistance and functional machines, as well as over 300 fitness classes a month to help you get in shape. But that’s not all, they’ll also be a weights zone, boxing, sprint tracks, a sauna and more in a £2 million state of the art facility. Best of all, there’s no contract or joining fee, so you can see if it’s for you without having to commit to a whole year.

 

 Neom Organics

 Neom Organics is a London based brand that focuses on creating products that are as much about wellbeing as about beauty, and they’re coming to the new Victoria Gate development with what will be just second store in the UK, and first outside of London. Expect a selection of bath oils, body washes, lotions, oils and scrubs, as well as scented candles and reed diffusers designed to help aid sleep, boost energy, relieve stress and calm your mood. Perfect for those of us who just love to indulge and relax!

Yet another Northern first, Australian tea brand T2 will be heading out of London for the first time. With a huge variety of tea bags and loose leaf teas, not to mention stunning tea ware, it's paradise for tea lovers.

 

Le Pain Quotidian

Once again, this Belgian restaurant is making a northern debut in Leeds. Expect breads and pastries alongside hot dishes, salads, tartines and frittatas, all made fresh daily using organic and local produce where possible, with plenty of options for vegetarians too.
